What this website stores on your device, why, and how to control it.
Last updated: To be confirmed on approval
This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. What it stores is limited to two things, both of which stay on your device.
A theme preference (light or dark) is saved in your browser's local storage so the site does not flash the wrong theme when you return. It contains nothing but the word 'light' or 'dark'.
If you sign in to the client portal, a session cookie is set. It is httpOnly, meaning scripts cannot read it, restricted to this site, marked secure in production, and expires after two hours.
No clinical information, no test results and no patient identifiers are ever placed in a cookie, in local storage, or in a URL.
No third-party advertising or social media tracking cookies are set by this site.
Location pages embed Google Maps. Google may set its own cookies when a map loads. We do not control those cookies, and every map is accompanied by the branch address in text so no information is available only inside a map.
Fonts are self-hosted rather than loaded from a third-party font service, so no request leaves this site to render type.
[To confirm with Everight: which analytics provider is in use, whether it sets cookies, whether IP addresses are anonymised, and the consent mechanism to be deployed before launch.]
Everight's stated position is that no sensitive health information is tracked. Analytics events are limited to page and action level — a service viewed, a booking started — never what was tested or found.
You can clear or block cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking the portal session cookie will prevent you signing in; clearing local storage will reset the theme to your system setting. Nothing else on this site depends on either.
