Most questions patients call us about have the same answer: it depends on your specific investigation. This page tells you what is always true — and where to get the answer that is specific to you.
Your visit
Book online, call us, or message on WhatsApp. Tell us the investigation you need and which centre suits you. If you have a referral letter, mention it — it tells us exactly what to run.
Preparation depends entirely on your specific investigation — some require fasting, some require a full bladder, some require nothing at all. We tell you what applies to you when we confirm your appointment. Never assume.
Bring photo ID, your referral letter if you have one, and any previous results relevant to what is being investigated. Where investigations allow it, samples and imaging are taken in the same visit.
Laboratory work is carried out under Everight's ISO 15189:2022 quality system at the accredited Abuja unit. Samples collected elsewhere travel through our specimen transportation service, temperature-controlled end to end.
Nothing is released until it has been reviewed against controls and verified by a consultant. Everight's stated goal is to make reports available within 24 hours after medical production of the result.
Results are released through the secure client portal and through the centre that carried out your investigation. Take the report to the clinician who requested it — a result is not a diagnosis.

On the day
One rule
Our booking and contact forms collect only what is needed to reach you and arrange your visit — name, contact details, centre and service. They deliberately do not collect symptoms, diagnoses, history or results.
If you need to discuss something clinical, call the centre handling your care. Your diagnostic information lives in the secure portal, not in a website form.
