Everight's Abuja laboratory attains ISO 15189:2022 accreditation
The Abuja medical laboratory has been accredited to ISO 15189:2022, the current international standard for quality and competence in medical laboratories.

The Everight Diagnostics Abuja medical laboratory unit has obtained ISO 15189:2022 accreditation, advancing from the ISO 15189:2012 accreditation it first achieved in 2022.
ISO 15189 is the international standard for quality and competence in medical laboratories. Accreditation covers the whole diagnostic chain — the competence of personnel, the validation of methods, the maintenance and calibration of equipment, and the systems that ensure a result issued today would be reproducible tomorrow.
Everight was also recognised as the first laboratory to achieve ISO 15189 certification in histopathology in Nigeria, and the first corporate member of the Nigeria Society for Human Genetics.
For patients and referring clinicians, accreditation is the practical assurance that results are produced under a quality system audited against an international benchmark rather than an internal one.
