Mr Ugwu Jude Anene

Mr Ugwu Jude Anene, the General Manager, was employed by the Company as a Laboratory Assistant in 2005. Following his rich experience in medical laboratory services, ingenuity and diligence, he was appointed Laboratory Manager in 2011 and promoted to General Manager in 2013. He joined the Board of Directors in 2016.

Having studied at the School of Medical Laboratory Science of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Mr Ugwu became an Associate Member of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (AMLSCN) in 2009, specialising in Clinical Chemistry. In 2003 he graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Microbiology/Biochemistry from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

He obtained a certificate in Molecular Pathology from Demyhealth Clinic and Genomic Medicine, Abuja, in 2018; a certificate in the Advanced Leadership Programme from the GOTNI Leadership Centre, Abuja, in 2021; and certificates in Corporate Governance and Essential Management Skills from the Enterprise Development Centre (Pan-Atlantic University), Lagos, in 2024.

He has more than fifteen years of experience in medical laboratory practice, is known for his managerial expertise and dedication, and has coached many upcoming laboratory scientists.
